Sara Cimpanelli is a research fellow at the Department of Historical Studies “Federico Chabod”, where she studies the depiction of women in late Medieval art. Throughout her academic journey, she has explored the use of visual sources in the study of cultural and political history. During her PhD, she focused on the depiction of the Jews in medieval Christian art, examining its function and meaning. Her article Gli ebrei nell’arte cristiana lombarda (secc. XIV-XV) was published in the journal “Studi di storia medioevale e di diplomatica”, N.S. 7 (2023), pp. 391-415.
