Gianmaria Brunazzi, a graduate in Political Economy from the École Normale Supérieure in Paris, holds a PhD in History, culture and theories of society and institutions. Since January 2021, he has been a research fellow and adjunct professor at the Department of Historical Studies, University of Milan; since September 2022, he has also been an academic fellow at Bocconi University. Investigating the relationship between social conflict and ideological constructions, he studies the origins and transformations of capitalism. He is a member of important associations for the study of economic history and economic thought, has published in several scientific journals and participated in numerous international conferences.
