Her scholarly work primarily investigates the political, social and cultural history of the Atlantic revolutionary world in the late 18th century, with a particular focus on the visual culture of French colonial hsitory. Having concluded a joint doctoral program in History at Universit\u00e9 Paris 1 and the University of Milan, she is presently undertaking a research project entitled <em>Visualizing social order and political economy over Atlantic: plantations, estate maps and property in French Caribbean (18th-19th century)<\/em>. Concurrently, she maintains a research interest in gender history within colonial spaces. Her recent publications include: <em>\u201cLa schiavit\u00f9 degli antichi paragonata a quella dei moderni\u201d.
