Marta Luigina Mangini is Associate Professor of Diplomatics, Latin Palaeography and Codicology at the University of Milan. Her studies focus on the history of medieval Italian notaries and the production and preservation of their documentation. She also studies the various mediation skills developed by medieval notaries, in particular their ability to interpret and rework concepts and ideas by drawing not only on the tools of oral and written communication, but also on those of graphic-expressive-artistic culture. She is the coordinator of the International Summer School Integrating Traditional and Digital Approaches in Manuscripts Studies<\/a> at the University of Milan and a member of the Organising Committee of the Master of Digital Humanities<\/a> at the University of Milan.\u00a0A member of several research groups, in particular Ius illuminatum<\/a>, she is also a member of the scientific and editorial board of the open access journal\u00a0\u201cStudi di storia medioevale e di diplomatica<\/a>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
