Lucia Demichelis is a PhD student in medieval history at the University of Milan. Her research project is dedicated to the iconographic representations of cities as female figures in the Late Middle Ages. Always attentive to visual sources from the perspectives of political and cultural history , her research ranges from the 12th to the 16th century.
