David Bernardini is a research fellow in contemporary history. He works on political history and the history of ideas between the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. He has recently returned to nationalbolshevism in the Weimar Republic, a research topic he worked on during his PhD, analysing it through visual sources. Since 2018 he has been a member of the editorial board of the “Rivista storica del socialismo” (new series).
